I generally love little boys in newsboy caps, so I couldn't have been more satisfied when this boy's Mom told me that his hat is a permanent fixture on his head. It actually fits his face so perfectly...I'm convinced he was born with that hat on. I also love that the hat so reflects his childhood because I was told he ALWAYS has it on. So in 20 years from now, when he looks back...he'll remember his gorgeous face and his little gray cap.

His little sister is just a porcelain doll, straight up. What fun to photograph.
